Intrepid was founded to create a style of travel that could benefit both travellers and the places and people they visit. Almost 30 years later, this is still integral to who we are and what we do.
It defines how we do business – where our key decision-making is guided by purpose beyond profit. The good news is, the two are a package deal. As we’ve grown into the world’s largest adventure travel company, we’ve learned the more we grow, the bigger the difference we can make in the world.
That’s why our 2020 strategy is to grow with purpose. This means more than ‘doing no harm’ to the places we explore. It’s about using sustainable experience-rich travel to support and empower these destinations and their people to thrive.
It’s this commitment to creating genuine, long-term change that led us to pursue an integrated style of annual reporting. This sees us combine our financial results with our sustainability reporting, to provide full transparency around our business strategy and operations. Read our 2017 integrated Annual Report here.
